MANILA – Due to the existence of an Intertropical Convergence Zone, Mindanao is predicted to see overcast skies and mild rainfall on Saturday (ITCZ).
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a 4 a.m. weather bulletin, predicting a cloudy sky with sporadic rain showers and thunderstorms in Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao.
During strong thunderstorms, the weather prediction warned of possible flash floods or landslides.
Partly overcast to cloudy skies will prevail across Metro Manila and the remainder of the country, with scattered rain showers or thunderstorms, ushered in by easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon will get light to moderate winds from the south to southwest, with modest to moderate seas.
The rest of the country will have the same wind speed as the rest of the country, but it will be blowing southeast to south, with similar coastal sea conditions.
Temperatures in Metro Manila will range from 26°C to 35°C; Baguio City, 18°C to 25°C; Lipa City, 24°C to 36°C; Metro Cebu, 27°C to 32°C; Cagayan de Oro City, 27°C to 30°C; and Metro Davao, 26°C to 32°C.
