The Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery, which took place simultaneously on Friday, brought various government services closer to citizens of this province.

The Philippine Army’s 91st Infantry “Sinagtala” Battalion (91IB), the Aurora Provincial Police Office, and other government agencies led the caravan by providing various services and informing the people about the Duterte administration’s major programs.

The caravan was held concurrently in the towns of San Luis, Dingalan, and this town on Saturday, according to Lt. Col. Julito B. Recto Jr., acting commander of the 91IB.

In an interview, Recto said, “These three rounds of government service caravan were held to enlighten the public of the government’s landmark projects and services, including the remarkable successes of the Duterte administration that produced relevant changes in the lives of the Filipino people.”

A lecture on the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) was given during the occasion to inform communities about the government’s rewards for rebel returns.

A lecture on the Philippine National Police’s Barangay Empowerment on Child Abuse Resistance and Elimination – Flight Unwanted Lewd – Design (B.E.C.A.R.E.F.U.L.) programme to prevent sexual abuse was also delivered.

The troops also distributed flyers about the army’s recruitment effort, according to Recto.

Other services included free haircuts and the distribution of gift packs and seedlings from the Provincial Agriculture Office.
