MANILA — The easterlies are expected to deliver warm and sunny weather to the Philippines…
As the LPA departs, Tuesday’s outlook calls for mostly sunny skies.
MANILA, Philippines — The country will have pleasant weather, but scattered rain showers are still forecast, according to the weather agency.
The low-pressure area (LPA) has dispersed, according to Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
“There have been no meteorological disturbances inside or beyond the Philippine Area of Responsibility,” he added, adding that fair weather will remain throughout the country.
Luzon will be hot from midday to 3 p.m., according to Aurelio. In the afternoon and evening, partly overcast to the cloudy sky with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected.
Temperatures in Tuguegarao could reach 35 degrees Celsius, while temperatures in Metro Manila could reach 34 degrees Celsius.
“The Visayas and Mindanao will have fair weather,” Aurelio stated, “although isolated rainfall generated by localized thunderstorms is likely in the afternoon or evening.”
The temperature in Cebu and Zamboanga could reach 33 degrees Celsius, while Iloilo, Tacloban, and Davao could reach 32 degrees Celsius.
Over the western and northern parts of Northern Luzon, moderate to high winds and moderate to rough waves will persist.
Winds will be light to moderate elsewhere, with modest to moderate seas.
