PITX’s LTO is now open on Saturdays.
MANILA, Philippines — On Saturdays, the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITXLand )’s Transportation Office (LTO) will be available to the public.
The new schedule will begin on June 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the LTO.
“Dito sa LTO-PITX, apply for a non-professional driver’s license!” (Apply for a non-professional driver’s license here at LTO-PITX! ), pati change classification at iba pa (Apply for a non-professional driver’s license here at LTO “Not only for renewals or new applications but also for ‘change classification’ and other transactions),” the LTO wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
On Saturdays, additional services such as a driving school and a medical clinic are also available.
Before visiting the LTO at PITX, no appointments are required.
“Ang LTO experience niyo dito ay sobrang komportable – maluwag, airconditioned, maraming kainan sa tabi, at may parking place pa kung saan din ginagawa ang driving exam,” it said.
Before a driver’s license may be given, applicants must be 17 years old or older for Filipinos and 18 years old for foreign nationals, be “physically and mentally fit” to operate a motor vehicle and be able to read and write in both Filipino and English.
Applicants must also have a valid student driver’s permit for at least one month from the date of issuance, have completed and passed the Practical Driving Course, have no outstanding traffic violations, and have passed both the Automated Theoretical Examination and the Practical Driving Test.
