Cloudy skies and precipitation are expected in Mindanao and Palawan as a result of the ITCZ.

MANILA, Philippines — On Saturday, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is forecast to bring cloudy weather to Mindanao and Palawan.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) predicted cloudy skies with sporadic rain showers and thunderstorms over the Zamboanga Peninsula, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, and Palawan in its 4 a.m. weather bulletin.

Meanwhile, in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, easterlies and isolated thunderstorms will produce a partly overcast to the cloudy sky with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate southeast to south winds will blow throughout Luzon and the Visayas, with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Winds will be light to moderate in Mindanao, although they will be blowing east to southeast, with comparable coastal sea conditions.

Metro Manila will have a temperature range of 26°C to 34°C; Tagaytay City will have a temperature range of 22°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu will have a temperature range of 25°C to 32°C; Cagayan de Oro City will have a temperature range of 25°C to 31°C, and Metro Davao will have a temperature range of 25°C to 33°C.
