The Department of Health (DOH) revealed Monday that the country’s daily average of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases increased by 39% from July 4 to July 10.
From July 4 to 10, there were 1,467 Covid-19 instances each day, up from 1,057 per day from June 27 to July 3.
According to the most recent case bulletin, there were 50 verified deaths and 10,271 new cases in the past week.
The number of severe and critical infections for the same time period increased from 497 to 555 as a result of 27 new cases.
Only 411 of the 2,414 beds in the intensive care unit (ICU) are being used, or 17 percent, while 4,863 of the 21,424 non-ICU beds are being used, or 22.7 percent.
Approximately 71,055,752 people, or 78.95 percent of the country’s target population (90,005,357), have received the Covid-19 vaccination as of this writing, including 77.72 percent of the 8,721,357 seniors.
Out of the 71,055,752 people who have received all of their vaccinations as of July 10, a total of 15,342,652 have received booster doses.
