PinasLakas drive gave 365K booster dosages
Through the PinasLakas campaign, a total of 364,784 booster doses of the Covid-19 vaccination had been given.
The doses were administered between July 26 and August 2, according to a Viber message the Department of Health sent to media on Wednesday night.
According to the DOH, “[About] 2,685 older adults were given the full dose of the Covid-19 vaccine during the same period.”
During the first 100 days of the Marcos administration, the DOH plans to immunize 90% of the target old population and boost 50% of the target population.
The PinasLakas campaign increases vaccine availability and accessibility in public markets, houses of worship, shopping centers, transportation hubs, workplaces, factories, plazas, and educational institutions.
The DOH said that as of August 1st, more than 71.7 million Filipinos had received all recommended vaccinations.
Over 16.2 million people have received their first booster dose, and over 1.3 million have received their second.
