SC: The 2022 Bar Exams will be conducted digitally in November.

The timetable for this year’s bar exams, which will be administered digitally rather than on paper as is customary, was released by the Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday.

The high court stated in Bar Bulletin No. 6 that the examinations will take place on Nov. 9 (Wednesday), 13 (Sunday), 16 (Wednesday), and 20 (Sunday), but added that rescheduling is conceivable if unanticipated occurrences take place.

For the 2022 bar exams, in which candidates will use their own devices in their desired location, the Supreme Court will continue to use Examplify, a secure examination delivery program, according to the court.

As was done for the tests last year, the tribunal stated that the exams will be watched over by on-site proctors and closed-circuit video cameras in the exam rooms.

Similar to the previous year, when there was a change from the customary single-site exam, the court has not yet made a notice regarding the availability of various exam venues.

Those who apply and are permitted to take the bar tests will have access to the testing software.

The court implemented a number of reforms in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, including the computerized Bar exams.
