PBBM guarantees assistance and safety for “modern-day heroes”
According to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, the country’s contemporary heroes would receive prominence, support, and protection.
According to Marcos, health care providers, teachers, athletes, and OFWs were among the country’s heroes.
He remarked in his weekly vlog, which was posted on his official Facebook page on Saturday, “Lahat po sila ay mga bayaning magsusulong sa atin tungo sa bagong Pilipinas (All of them will help build our country a “new” Philippines”).
“Ang pangarap ko is for the aforementioned bag of bayani. “My dream for our modern heroes is to give them the importance, support, and protection they require to continue carrying out their missions,” he continued. “I want to give them the protection they deserve and the importance they deserve, so they can continue to do what they do best: save the world.”
During his official visits, Marcos promised to personally thank the OFWs in Singapore and Indonesia for their great contributions to the nation.
He stated that he is “eager” to meet with Filipinos living abroad in the two host nations because the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) epidemic prevented him from traveling there during the campaign.
The Muli said, “Magkikita-kita. Na malapit. As long as ngayon pandemya, ang ating mga OFW may hindi matatawarang kontribusyon sa ating lipunan. We won’t be apart for long before we bump into one other again for the purpose of ilaban ang kanilang hanapbuhay sa ibang bansa. Soon. The efforts made by our OFWs are immense, particularly during the pandemic. To continue working abroad, they made sacrifices and showed grit, Marcos remarked.
On September 4 and 6, respectively, Marcos will meet with members of the Filipino communities in Singapore and Indonesia.
Over 8,000 Filipinos reside in Indonesia, while over 200,000 live in Singapore.
In addition to the OFWs, Marcos commended instructors and medical professionals for enabling the safe restart of in-person instruction despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
He commended the dedication and efforts of teachers and health professionals to achieve the nationwide reopening of schools.
“It’s a bunga of the kabayanihan of the aforementioned doctors, nurses, and always, magulangs. Ang mga bata na makita ang kanilang mga kaklase muli ang excited na enthusiastic. These are the outcomes of the bravery of our teachers, healthcare professionals, and of course, the parents. Higit dalawang taon na silang hindi nagkikita. Since they haven’t seen each other in two years, the kids are thrilled to see each other again, Marcos added.
‘Yung temperature check, paghugas ng kamay, pagpanatili ng pagsuot ng mask,’ among other health protocol implementations, are ‘naging maganda’ in terms of preparation for the various eskuwelahans. The schools did a good job of preparing for the implementation of the health procedures, which included taking a temperature, washing one’s hands, and donning a face mask. That’s the extra work that our heroic instructors do),” he continued.
Given the persistence of Covid-19, he urged everyone to keep up the observance of the minimal public health requirements, particularly in populated areas.
Additionally, Marcos promised that his administration would keep helping athletes develop their abilities.
“Ang ating mga athletes are training diligently, Iyan. An oras na ginugugol nila para mahasa ang kanilang kakayanan para lang makapagdala ng karangalan sa ating bansa, ang kanilang sakripisyo sa pag-ensayo. Because of the sacrifices they made while training and honing their skills in order to represent our nation with pride, our athletes are also our heroes. We must help them because of this, he continued.
Marcos emphasized that everyday Filipinos who show patriotism can be celebrated as modern-day heroes.
“Laga na naririnig na ang kabayanihan ay matatagpuan sa bawat isa,” she said. Iyan totoo po. We frequently hear that every Filipino has the potential to be a hero and the ability to do so in their own community. That’s accurate. Every Filipino possesses the skills and capacity to benefit the nation, according to Marcos.
