From September 12 to 18, PH daily Covid-19 cases decreased by 4%.
On Monday, the Department of Health (DOH) said that the daily average of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases decreased by 4% from September 12 to 18.
The number dropped to 2,101 daily in the most recent week from the 2,197 per day recorded from September 9 to September 11.
According to the most recent case bulletin, there were 14,707 new cases and 248 confirmed fatalities.
The DOH reported 34 more deaths between September 5 and September 18.
The number of severe and critical illnesses increased from 727 the previous week to 772 within the same period due to the addition of seven cases.
Among the 2,638 beds in the intensive care unit (ICU), just 24.1%, or 637, are being used; in contrast, 28.9%, or 6,110, of the 21,150 non-ICU beds, are being used.
Approximately 72,897,703 people, or 93.34 percent of the target population for the nation (78,100,578), had received the Covid-19 vaccination as of this writing, including 78.23 percent of 8,721,357 seniors.
Out of the population that has been fully immunized, a total of 18,883,456 had gotten booster doses as of September 18.
