There’s nothing like reaching your desired level of success to make you thankful, but the novelty wears off and you forget to be grateful. Every day, there are so many reasons to be thankful and so many chances to do so. For starters, those in your immediate vicinity will be happy and more eager to spend time with you. You’ll be happier and have a more positive attitude as a result. You’ll also discover that when others realize you’re thankful for all you have and get, they’ll be more eager to assist you.

Those who believe they are entitled

You’ve probably come across people who believe they have a right to something. They seem to believe that they are entitled to success without having to work for it, despite the fact that every other successful person on the planet has had to work their tails off to get where they are. These individuals are always pessimistic, whining and complaining about whatever effort they have to perform and believing that the world should be served to them on a silver platter. Stop if you’re one of these individuals! If you only know individuals like that, make sure you don’t fall into that trap since it’s a hole of negativity that’s tough to escape.

Be Thankful for Your Possibilities

Be grateful for the chances you’ve been given. Consider how many individuals across the globe do not have the opportunities that you have if you reside in a developed nation. Consider those who do not only lack access to the Internet and the capacity to establish a company online, but also do not have access to safe drinking water or power. The chance to create a company and attain such success is not to be overlooked. If you have the chance, consider yourself very fortunate and thankful.

You should also be thankful for the instructors you have in the knowledge you’re able to get, whether through the Internet or other sources. You should be thankful for the instructors you have, for the information they possess and for their willingness to educate you.

There are successful individuals who do not adhere to this specific thinking model, instead believing that the more people they tell about their secret to success, the more competition there will be, which would ostensibly devalue their own achievement, even if it is in a different sector. Most successful individuals, on the other hand, are very thankful to those that helped them get to where they are now.

Tony Robbins is a name you’ve undoubtedly heard of. Tony is a successful entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and author. Even with all of his success and all of the things he’s done to create this atmosphere for himself, he still owes a debt of gratitude to those who helped him get to where he is now. Tony Robbins stated in a recent interview with success.com that he is still thankful to his first mentor, a guy called Jim Rohn, who inspired him when he was very young.

Follow Tony’s lead and be thankful because there are advantages; not just the ones listed in the opening paragraph of this chapter, but also some really incredible advantages for your company. People who are thankful for all of the chances they have had and all of the people who have helped them are more likely to be successful than those who are not, and are typically many times more successful than those who are not.

Until you’ve perfected being grateful, practice it.

It’s OK if you don’t feel like you’ve arrived to a place where you can be thankful. Gratitude, like everything else, requires practice. You may need to think long and hard about what you have to be thankful for in your internet company, or you may need to wait until you have something to be grateful for. The goal is to begin altering your way of thinking. This appreciative attitude is consistent with the rest of the book. You’re not simply being thankful because you should; you’re being grateful because it improves your life and amplifies your achievement.

Begin keeping a gratitude journal.

Starting a thankfulness diary is one of the things you can do to improve your gratitude skills. When you sit down at the end of the day and write down some of the things you’re thankful for, you’re keeping a gratitude notebook. If you prefer, you can use your computer, a piece of paper and a pen, or even a smart phone app. Just as long as you take a few minutes each day to reflect on what you have to be grateful for, write it down, and use it to help you succeed.

How Can You Express Your Gratitude?

One way to give back is to utilize whatever resources you have accumulated as a result of your success to assist someone else. If you’re an Amazon affiliate and your first check from Amazon is just over $100, give it to charity, take it down to your local soup kitchen to help purchase food, or even outsource some of the things you need for your company so that others may earn money as well.

If you can demonstrate your gratitude to the world, it will continue to provide you with opportunities and knowledge to help you succeed. It may seem corny, like some kind of new age philosophy, but it is the way this thing works, and anybody who has achieved a reasonable degree of success will tell you that having a good attitude, being thankful, and being ready to learn are all essential components of success.
