HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Nestled in the aravali hills, the 18th century Devi Garh palace in the village of Delwara, forms one of the three main passes into the valley of Udaipur Hotels. Devi Garh, is ready for visitors after years of restoration and rebuilding. The Fort palace was conceived as a place where the past meets the future.This all suite luxury hotel comprising of 39 suites with an emphasis on design and detail, using local marbles and semi-precious stones.The contemporary design showcased within this spectacular heritage property, complemented by personalised and intimate service, creates a new image of India for the 21st century.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: All of the 39 suites at Devi Garh are unique; luxurious and beautiful, yet equipped with the most modern facilities to make a guest feel utterly at home. The premium suite, called Devi Garh Suite, has a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi, of its own. Each suite is embellished with marble and semi-precious stones, while the public spaces are designed around different metals.
Aravali Suite
The Aravali Suites are the most spacious, bright and tastefully designed suites at Devi Garh. They offer complete privacy and have a spectacular view of the Aravali hills, which can be enjoyed from balconies or large bay windows. One of the Aravali Suites is a duplex spread over two levels; a loft-like space accommodates the bedroom and bathroom above, while the lower houses the dining and sitting areas. The design of this particular suite is based on the traditional Indian motif – often considered the most beautiful in Indian art – that of the lotus, or kamal. Its likeness is repeated in the paintings in the room, as well as in the floor patterns throughout the suite. Furthermore, the suite overlooks the spectacular black marble ‘kamal’ court, a courtyard that again reflects the image of a lotus in bloom. Palace Suite
The Palace Suites are each individually designed gems - literally, for the décor of each utilises semi-precious stones in inlays. Pristine white marble forms an effective base to offset the rich and elegant colors of Rajasthan, with local artisnal skills used in a modern manner. In every case, the patterns of the furniture are reflected and replicated in the white terrazzo forming the floor. All the palace suites have either balconies or bay windows, which overlook the lush green fields and the mountains surrounding Devi Garh. Each suite is accessible through traditional ‘aangans’ (courtyards) transformed with contemporary design. In every suite, the specially selected upholstery and furniture exhibit a view towards a refined beauty and functionality. Marble combined with semi-precious stones, such as malachite, mother of pearl, jasper and lapis lazuli, lend an aura of luxury and quiet elegance to the rooms. Garden Suite
The Garden Suites at Devi Garh each have their own private lobby, garden and tented terrace, and overlook a vivid rectangular field of flowers. In each of the suites, the décor (based on local green marble) bring the serenity and beauty of the garden inside. A carved marble tree of life surmounts the headboard of the bed, emphasizing the illusion of a lush garden within the room. The culinary arts are an integral element of the experience at Devi Garh. We aim to provide authentic home cooked flavors, using only the freshest ingredients available. Our multi-cuisine restaurant offers both Indian and International Cuisines. Along with the restaurant, and the in-room dining in the privacy of the suites, we also have special venues for exclusive dining. These range from intimate spaces under the stars with a wide array of flowers or candles flickering in mirrored walls, to the gentle sound of flowing water or a view of the mountain peaks lit by the moon. Live Jal Tarang and Flute recital in the background makes it an even more unforgettable experience. Featuring spectacular sunset views, the Bar at Devi Garh is a fun, relaxed space integrating the colors and energy of Rajasthan. We have a well stocked bar where an eclectic mix of drinks such as spirits stirred with pomegranate juice or jasmine syrup are available along side more familiar favorites. The Bar also features a special taster menu to induce your taste buds. The authentic flavors of ‘chaat’ expose guests to a quintessential aspect Indian cuisine – street food, prepared by Devi Garh’s expert chefs. The Devi Garh Palace resort, while retaining its historical feel, attends to every amenity that a modern day traveller may need. We provide special facilities for conference and banqueting needs that are ideal for seminars, meetings, and workshops. The Conference Hall decorated in shades of silver and gray, seats 50 and has up to date audio-visual equipment. For larger banquets, the elegant Durbar Hall, in addition to other gardens and courtyards, are also available as adaptable venues.

The swimming pool is located at the reception level and is heated during the winter season. It is open for use from 0730 hrs to 1900 hrs

CAMEL SAFARI’S AND HORSE RIDING
The charm of Rajasthan is best experienced first hand on a camel or horse safari through the village and into the Aravali hills. The camel safari and horse rides can be arranged a day prior upon request with Reception.
TREKKING
The Aravali hills are some of the oldest in the Indian peninsula and trekking through them are an unforgettable experience. A famous temple known locally as the Rashtrasena Mata temple at an elevation of 500 ft feet can be covered in two hours. Once at the summit the breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys make this trek well worth the effort.
KITE FLYING
Soar high in the sky with the kites and enjoy this traditional Indian sport from our roof terrace. Kites are available at Reception.
POOL TABLE
Situated next to the Durbar hall, and overlooking the beautiful Kamal (lotus) courtyard is the poolroom.
CROQUET LAWNS
Situated on the green lawns at the entrance to the palace this can be an interesting means of entertainment without much exertion. Equipment is available through Reception.
ASTROLOGER
Curiosity of the unknown is brought to light through our astrologer. His craft is based upon reading an individual’s astrological chart, which can be prepared by him with a days’ advance notice.

A wide range of indoor entertainment will keep one happily occupied in the comfort of the room. Various games like Chess, Backgammon, Checkers, and Pictionary are available in the library.
