LOCATION: Sun 'n' Sand holiday Resort lying on well landscaped tropical gardens on the sandy beaches of the southern shores of blue-water Lake Malawi known as "lake of stars". It lies some 24 kilometres from Mangochi Township towards Monkey Bay at a three hours drive from Lilongwe International airport and approximately three hours drive from Chileka Airport Blantyre.
ACCOMMODATION: There are 35 standard rooms, 66 superior rooms, 13 suites and 14 family chalets. All the rooms have en Suite facilities, are air-conditioned and have Satellite Television and Telephones. The following camping facilities are available: 25 mounted tents with beddings, lights and fans, Snack bar and good sanitary facilities. Open space for mounting personal tents is also available. HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: The number of entertainment and recreational facilities available at Sun 'n' Sand Holiday Resort is overwhelming. Here are some of them: an Olympic size swimming pool, a children swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, stop and putt 18 hole mini golf, speed boats, parasail, windsurf, canoes, paddle boats, water ski, jet ski, rubber boats, knee boat, wake snake, darts, table tennis, mini-soccer, snooker, mini-zoo, fish aquarium, volleyball, jumping castle, trampoline, traditional dances or live band on Saturday nights, trips to Birds Island for groups and individuals. DININGS & BARS: When you come to the unique fun of Sun 'n' Sand, great care and attention is given to the food served. Our chefs pride themselves and give you a variety of food from our restaurant, on the beach, by the pool or in the comfort of your room. We offer a great choice of delicious meals from freshly caught chambo fish, to Italian, Indian and English cuisine. Enjoy fresh fruits and salads too, in-between light meals with variety of sandwiches. Try our delicious fresh fruit juices. From the famous Chambo to chicken to meat or simply vegetarian, we have perfected our kitchen to meet your taste. MEETINGS & CONFERENCES: There are five self-contained, air-conditioned
conference halls with seating capacity of from 30 to 300 persons with
secreterial rooms, computer support, email and internet facilities,
overhead projectors, flipcharts boards, pin boards, high tech audio
visual equipment, public address system, computer projector(LCD Unit),
