LOCATION: The Oberoi, Mauritius is a true destination resort, perfectly reflecting the pulse of this beautiful tropical island and commanding 600 metres of a clear oceanfront. Picturesquely located at Baie aux Tortues on the island's north-west coast, it is 20 minutes away from Port Louis and 50 minutes from the airport. Spread over 20 acres of tropical gardens, the resort will have 76 terrace pavilions and private villas. All villas will have courtyard gardens and open-air dining pavilions; a majority will have private swimming pools. Exclusivity and privacy are the hallmarks of the resort.
ACCOMMODATION: Designed to meet the highest standards of resort accomodations, the 76 luxurious Villas and Terrace pavilions offer a sense of exclusivity and style. All the rooms have either a king bed or two twin beds. They all have open air dining pavilion, sunken bath(some with separate showers) and courtyard garden, data port, private DVD players and electric safe. Villas feature their own private swimming pools. A very private and secluded atmosphere.
HOTEL FACILITIES: Dining options at the resort include a restaurant
as well as outdoor dining, both affording sweeping views of the ocean.
A well-balanced menu will offer European, Asian and Creole cuisine.
The beachfront bar will enhance the experience. Luxury will distinguish
the extensive health spa that will incorporate a range of holistic treatments.
Besides two ocean-facing swimming pools, leisure pursuits at the resort
will include tennis, wind surfing, water skiing, sailing, scuba diving,
deep-sea fishing as well as golf. Requirements of corporate guests will
be met through two meeting rooms equipped with state of the art sound
and audio-visual facilities. Business centre services will also be available.
