LOCATION: Located on the unspoilt Eastern Coast of Zanzibar, Karafuu Hotel is approximately 65 Km. far from Zanzibar town and airport. Karafuu is an International five-star hotel and it was officially opened in December 1995.

With its European management it is considered one of the best hotel of the island. The hotel was built on seven hectares of pleasant tropical garden just in front of a long white sandy beach.

Our reception is opened 24 hours a day (24h/24h), in order to grant a permanent service to our clients.

ACCOMMODATION: 61 junior suite cottages (26 of which facing the sea, under a beautiful palm- grove or on a small hill, available for a supplement). Built under “makuti” thatch and furnished with traditional Zanzibar furniture, these suites comprise: entrance through private garden, breathtaking view veranda, mosquito net, ample bedroom, dressing room, bathroom in Carrara marble, ceiling fan, independent air conditioning, hot and cold running water, hair-dryer, telephone and minibar.

28 standard rooms. Built as well under “makuti” thatch and furnished with traditional Zanzibar furniture, these rooms comprise: bedroom, wardrobe, bathroom in Carrara marble, balcony, mosquito net, ceiling fan, independent air conditioning, hot and cold running water, hair-dryer, telephone and minibar.
