Overlooking Lechwe lake, this is the most tranquil of setting where you may see Kudu, Sable, Sitatunga, Waterbuck and of course Lechwe as they come to drink Relax in landscaped gardens or go on a game drive with one of our experienced game scouts. Follow our walking trail to spot some of the 250 odd bird species or just enjoy walking through the indigenous woodland The location of Protea Safari Lodge was designed with entirely one focus - a private and completely wild and unspoiled location, enabling an active holiday, or poolside relaxation, with the sophistication of a leading hotel.
ACCOMMODATION: The largest project of its kind in Zambia and architecturally designed to the highest standard, the Lodge boasts 16 double or twin luxurious en suite thatched chalets and four deluxe chalets. Each of the rooms has private verandah, telephone, satellite TV, mosquito nets and above all views of the lake or virgin bush.
