LOCATION: The Marina Hotel is conveniently located on the Tigne seafront, within walking distance of shops, on the popular Strand Promenade, which is a perfect venue for leisurely walks. From across the road one has the possibility of reaching Valletta, Malta’s historical capital, by bus or by boat. Bus service to other parts of the Island are available from the same terminus. The Marina Hotel caters for the discerning businessman, cultural groups and third age tourism. The hotel promises an enjoyable holiday enhanced by a friendly service and good value for money.
ACCOMMODATION: The long established Marina Hotel has been recently refurbished and now boasts 78 fully air-conditioned rooms, a roof top restaurant which enjoys breath-taking views of Valletta and Sliema Creek, a spacious sun terrace and a welcoming reception. All the rooms are fully air-conditioned and have private facilities. Seaview rooms enjoy a full view of Marsamxetto harbour and Valletta from a spacious balcony. Accommodation is available in single, double and triple bedrooms as
well as connecting family suites. All rooms are equipped with a television,
a direct dial phone and a hairdryer. A fridge and a safe are also available
at a fee. RESTAURANT: The main restaurant, The Roof Top Restaurant is a large and spacious area with a seating capacity of 100 covers. The Roof Top Restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine with a blend of traditional Maltese dishes. One can enjoy a full view of Marsamxetto harbour and Valletta from a very spacious balcony. In summer the Hotel organizes Open Air Barbecues on the 9th floor terrace; enjoying the superb view of the Marsamxetto Harbour by night.
There is also a Cafeteria, that serves a variety of snacks and pastries. Café Bottega is open from 10.00am until late at night. MEETING FACILITIES: The Marina Hotel has one large Conference room. The Conference Room can take up to 60 delegates in theatre style layout or alternatively 30 delegates in a classroom layout. BUSINESS MAN - The Marina Hotel is very central located for Business Man, being within reach of the main business community in Valletta and nearby areas. The Marina Hotel offers the possibility of internet services in individual rooms. GROUPS - The Marina Hotel accepts groups of maximum 15 – 20 rooms and ad hoc negotiable prices and a free group leader with every 25 paying guests. Public areas on the 9th floor would offer the perfect venue for any animation required by groups. Functions such as lectures, ballroom dancing and slide shows may be organized upon request. FACILITIES: The Marina Hotel boasts of a wide range of facilities,
which include a 24 hour reception, TV room with cable service, 2 lifts
servicing all floors, a large Roof Top Restaurant with a superb view
