Overview: A little over 2 hours drive from Manila, on the tip of the Calumpang Peninsula and on the southern mouth of beautiful Balayan Bay, majestically sits a luxurious haven, Eagle Point Resort.

The resort offers facilities to accommodate even those that do not dive. Comfort and privacy is what guests can expect with us. Sitting by the sea and surrounded by flowers and trees, the natural beauty will take hold of you. Many guests have said that it was like being transported to a far exotic island but still be conveniently close to Manila.

Accommodation
Comfort was in mind, when we built our accommodations. EAGLE POINT offers 16 twin-sharing cottages, air-conditioned with their own bathroom and balcony; 1 two-bedroom cottage, air-conditioned with living room, 2 bathrooms & a large balcony; and for those who have a tight budget, 4 quad-sharing bunk rooms (air-conditioned & non-air-conditioned) with 2 double-decked bunks in each room sharing 2 external bathrooms. Though the bunk rooms do not have their own private balcony, fronting it is a large sun-deck with 2 sawali cabanas (native open huts) next to the sea.

Our cottages were built in clusters of twos. All of which have a great view of the sea. They are solidly built with hard wood to withstand the harshest environment.

For a more rustic experience, try any of our 10 luxurious Cabanas. Each has a private balcony where guests can view the spectacular romantic sunset and modern bathroom facilities with hot and cold water specially designed for the comfort of our valued guests.

Note to all guests, the management cannot take responsibility if you're awaken by an overly romantic lizard which we lovingly call the TUKO (pronounced Too-kuo), named after the sound that they make. Warning!!! The sound they make is a mating call. Restrain yourself from imitating their call unless you want an unexpected bedmate.

Facilities and Amenities
Eagle Point Resort offer facilities to accommodate even those that do not dive. Comfort and privacy is what guests can expect with us. Sitting by the sea and surrounded by flowers and trees, the natural beauty will take hold of you. Many guests have said that it was like being transported to a far exotic island but still be conveniently close to Manila.

Sepok Island
Eagle Point Resort's newest addition to the resort is its private sandy beach just a few minutes boat ride from the resort proper. Aside from swimming and lounging around in the sun, visitors can also explore the many wonders of the island. We have constructed a bar and restaurant to make your visit more pleasant.

3 Swimming Pools
Though, scuba diving is the main attraction, we do have alternate facilities for those of the family that are not divers. Our pools were built for that purpose. Carved into the cliff side, the pool area was built in 2 levels with the shallower pool for children above, surrounded by a boulder motif and waterfalls. The main pool located just below with similar motif feature is fronted with a huge sun deck overlooking the sea. On one side of the sun deck is the pool-side bar. Connecting the upper pool with the lower poll is our 30ft waterslide. The water of the upper pool overflows unto the slide making it a slippery and exciting thrill for kids and adults can't help but giving it a try also. From the Main Core, kids can cross an arched bridge that goes over the waterslide to the upper pool area. On the same level is the sandy playground with a child size Nipa hut on it.

Also make sure, you try our reef (saltwater) pool. We have adapted a tamed though somewhat shy sea turtle named Charlene, who was raised in captivity. Unfortunately, she cannot survive in the wild. But because she grew up in a bathtub, she is now swimming in a 40' long by 20' wide and about 10' deep pool. You and your kids will be able to swim with her and Bugsy, our 12 pound grouper (Lapu-lapu) resident as well as other colorful fish. Imagine swimming in a very large aquarium.

Dive Shop and Watersports Center
Of course, there is nothing like swimming in the real thing. So, we do try to encourage you to experience the thrill of exploring another world. That is, the coral reef which fronts the whole resort. Snorkelling does not require much to view this miracle of creation. All you need is a mask with snorkel & fins (available at our dive shop), and lots of time to just float around. If you can't swim, request for a life jacket.

Gift Shop
Don't forget to drop by our gift shop concession owned by Elizabeth Asbury. Her shop has all the things you'll need from souvenirs, film, toys, candy to other personal items.

Eagle Point Resort offer facilities to accommodate even those that do not dive.

Game Room
Did we mention we have a gameroom? For those who like to play, we do have a billiard, Ping-Pong table and a dart board.

Walk-Thru Aviary
For bird watchers, Eagle Point offers the largest walk-through aviary in Batangas. In this 3/4 acre enclosed netted area, the owner has collected numerous rare tropical birds that are indigenous and those from other parts of the Philippines. Great place for guests to take a quiet afternoon stroll

Boat Rentals for Island Excursion / Diving
If you want to spend a day at a sandy beach, you can rent a boat (banca) to Sombrero Island, Layag-layag, Cemetery and Red Rock beaches (located on Maricaban Island). These destinations are about 15-20 minutes away by boat. We recommend you have a picnic on Red Rock beach which is the only one with picnic tables. These boats are independently owned and charged on a per-trip basis. To avoid burning a hole through your pockets, plan your trips wisely. We advice that you make your boat arrangements at our front desk..

Esplanade 2000
Besides our usual services (front desk, bell, restaurant, etc...), we also do have in-cottage massage services as well as other exotic facial and skin treatments. These services are being provided by ESPLANADE 2000, who have partnered with us in providing for your comfort. In the near future, EAGLE POINT with ESPLANADE 2000 will have a new 3-storey European Spa complete with steam rooms, Jacuzzi, massage facilities, an exercise gym with state-of-the-art equipment and a health bar.
