Situated along the coastline of Calatagan. Batangas, Punta Baluarte is a pleasant 2-1/2 hours drive (subject to traffic conditions) south from Metro Manila, passing through towns, plantations, and open fields. There are two alternative routes to Batangas - via South Superhighway and take the Sta. Rosa Exit or via the Coastal Road, then on to scenic Tagaytay. From Tagaytay, drive down towards the Sugar Central junction in Nasugbu then proceed to the town of Lian. Continue through to Calatagan until you reach Punta Baluarte which is nestled throughout sprawling hillsides, overlooking Balayan Bay and the South China Sea.

Description

Accommodation
These are two junior suites perched on a hillside above the Fresh-Water pool. For scenic vistas surrounding the Bicol Houses, catch the breathtaking natural environment made up of abundant trees, grasses and shrubs or the picturesque water biers such as the Balayan Bay or Fresh-Water pool. One suite has a queen-sized bed while the other has twin beds. Both suites have small anterooms with sofa bed. Maximum of four (4) persons per room. Note, this type of room is not advisable for elderly guests due to uphill climb or ascending stairs to the Bicol Houses.
Each room is air-conditioned and has a private toilet and shower, telephone, in-room safe, mini-bar/refrigerator and color TV with 26 cable channels. Located on top of the hill. Guests enjoy a panoramic view of the South China Sea from the verandah at the back of each unit. There are four connecting rooms, ideal for families. Rooms are equipped with king-sized or queen-sized beds, and other units are mostly twin-bedded with sofa beds. Maximum of four (4) persons per room.

Seaview Beach
Each room is air-conditioned and has a private toilet and shower, telephone, in-room safe, mini-bar/refrigerator and color TV with 26 cable channels. These are several low-rise building clusters patterned after native style houses with thatched-roof and a front verandah overlooking the beachfront. It is ideally located near the Salt-Water pool and walking distance to the Pagapas Cafe'. There are several connecting rooms - some of the rooms have king-sized beds while others have queen-sized beds and the rest are twin-bedded. Only a few rooms have sofa beds. Maximum of four (4) persons per room.

Sunrise Rooms
Each room is air-conditioned and has a private toilet and shower, telephone, minibar/refrigerator and color TV with 26 cable channels. Jeepneys are provided to shuttle guests to the Pagapas Cafe' and the
swimming pools. These rooms are classified into three types:

Studio Twin
Filipiniana-inspired rooms set in a cluster of four. These rooms are situated along hillsides, near the Mulawin Clubhouse or above the Pagapas Cafe' area. Majority of these rooms have twin beds while the rest have queen-sized beds. Maximum of four (4) persons per room .

Nipa Bugalows
Single detached Nipa Hut style spread out around the hills. Some rooms are located above the Beach Houses while some are near the Mulawin Clubhouse. Most rooms have three single beds with possibilty for one extra bed. Maximum of four (4) persons per room.

Cabañas
One low-rise cluster having eight rooms fronting the Fresh-Water pool and walking distance to the Pagapas Cafe'. Six of these have queen-sized beds and the other two have twin beds. This type of accommodation is not spacious enough to take in extra beds, except for two units. Suitable for single or double occupancy.

Hilltop Rooms
Each room is air-conditioned and has a private toilet and shower, telephone, in-room safe, mini-bar/refrigerator and color TV with 26 cable channels. Located on top of the hill, spacious guestrooms are grouped into three separate low-rise building clusters. All rooms, except corner rooms, have a private verandah at the back of each unit. Some rooms are with queen-sized beds, but majority are twin bedded rooms. All hilltop rooms are provided with sofa beds. Maximum of four (4) persons per room.

Facilities and Amenities
Seven (7) air-conditioned function rooms are available to cater to out-of-town company meetings, eminars, workshops, or social gatherings. Audio-visual equipment and other support facilities are on hand. Groups of 20 to 350 can be accommodated depending on requirements and venue selection.
