The GSIS Citizen’s Charter is now available online.

The Philippine government’s Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has introduced online editions of its Guide to Transactions and Processes (GTAP), the first online Citizen’s Charter, a guide to the fundamental frontline and other services provided by public enterprises.

GTAP is now available on the GSIS website as well as the GSIS Touch mobile application.

It can be accessed by typing https://gtap.gsis.gov.ph/ into a web browser or by using GSIS Touch.

“Last year, GTAP was exclusively available through kiosks in GSIS offices across the country. GSIS president and general manager Rolando Ledesma Macasaet stated in a statement Thursday that “we made it available online to protect our members and pensioners from the virus.”

GTAP can be downloaded and installed on any mobile phone to assist users in dealing with GSIS, according to Macasaet, and it can also be accessible via the GSIS website at www.gsis.gov.ph.

“To date, GTAP is the government’s first of its sort. In order to comply with Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Delivery of Government Services Act, we updated our Citizen’s Charter to make it more user-friendly and accessible “Added he.

Last year, GTAP began as an information kiosk in the GSIS main office and branch offices across the country.

Members can use the touch screen function to read information about GSIS services, a short guidance on the step-by-step process, eligibility and requirements, and GSIS people accountable for each transaction, rather than reading GSIS’s charter from a tarpaulin.

“GSIS expresses its commitment to providing continuous and adaptable service, particularly during a pandemic, through GTAP. Covid-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) has drastically altered the landscape of public service delivery, and we must adapt by providing contactless and convenient services to our members and retirees “According to Macasaet.

When community quarantines were first implemented around the country, GSIS worked quickly to accept loan and claim applications using contactless techniques in order to keep servicing the public.
