After 6,833 new recoveries on Friday, the total number of recovered coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in the United States has reached 1,261,115.

The Department of Health (DOH) stated in its most recent case bulletin that recoveries account for 93.7 percent of the overall case count, which has reached 1,346,276 since the epidemic began last year.

With the addition of 6,833 additional cases, the total number of active cases now stands at 61,776.

92.2 percent of active cases are mild, 3.7 percent asymptomatic, 1.2 percent critical, 1.7 percent severe, and 1.22 percent moderate.

There were also 110 additional deaths, bringing the total number of Covid-19 fatalities in the nation to 23,385.

On June 18, the Department of Health reported that 12.6 percent of 43,635 people tested positive for Covid-19.

“The overall case count was reduced by 14 duplicates, 10 of which were recovered cases and one was a death. In addition, 30 previously reported recoveries have been verified as active cases, while 60 previously labeled as recoveries have been reclassified as fatalities after final validation “According to the Department of Health.

On June 16, all labs were functioning, however five were unable to transmit their data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).

Based on data from the previous 14 days, the five non-reporting labs account for 2.6 percent of samples examined and 4.4 percent of positive people, according to the DOH.

Patients with Covid-19 are now using 59 percent of 3,500 critical care unit beds, 46 percent of 19,200 isolation beds, 47 percent of 12,400 ward beds, and 37 percent of 2,800 ventilators throughout the country.

Meanwhile, in the National Capital Region, 46 percent of 1,200 critical care unit beds, 36 percent of 4,800 isolation beds, 33 percent of 3,600 ward beds, and 32 percent of 1,000 ventilators are devoted to patients with Covid-19.
