Due to poor weather, 6 domestic flights were canceled.
The Manila International Airport Authority reported that as of Thursday afternoon, at least six domestic flights had been canceled because of bad weather.
These were the flights:
2557/2558 PAL Express (2P) Cebu Pacific (5J) 703/704 Manila-Dipolog-Manila CebGo (DG) 6839/6840 Manila-Siargao-Manila Manila-Dipolog-Manila
According to the weather service, the low-pressure area (LPA) was last observed 355 kilometers east southeast of Surigao City in the province of Surigao del Norte or 345 km east of Butuan City in the province of Agusan del Norte, and it is still not expected to intensify into a tropical cyclone.
However, moderate to heavy rains, occasionally intense, are expected to be caused by the LPA and the shear line over the Eastern and Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Negros Occidental province.
