Luzon will see rainfall because of “amihan.”
According to the weather service, Luzon will have rain showers on Wednesday due to the northeast monsoon, or “amihan”.
Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao will all see heavy rains.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Agency (PAGASA), moderate to occasionally intense rains in these locations could cause flash floods or landslides.
The rest of Luzon, excluding Palawan, will suffer light showers, but no severe effects are anticipated.
Isolated rain showers will occur in Mindanao, the Visayas, and Palawan as a result of nearby thunderstorms.
The possibility of flash floods or landslides exists during strong thunderstorms.
Across Luzon, the eastern Visayas, and Mindanao, there will be moderate to severe winds and moderate to rough waves.
The northern, eastern, and western coasts of Luzon, as well as the northern and central coasts, are expected to see rough to very rough seas.
Fishing boats and other small seacrafts were cautioned not to enter the water, and bigger seacrafts were warned against strong waves.
PAGASA predicted light to moderate winds and mild to moderate seas in other locations.
