The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership benefits can be reaped by Philippine businesses if they hasten their digital transformation (RCEP).

According to Paco Sandejas, founder and head of the digital transformation accelerator Stratpoint Technologies, adopting technology during the RCEP ratification will assist Philippine-based enterprises to access the sizable market of participating countries.

One-third of the world’s population and economy were represented by the 15 RCEP participants, which included Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The RCEP agreement’s Chapter 12 discusses internet commerce.

According to Sandejas, digital technology can make Philippine businesses more competitive, and Stratpoint wants to speed up local companies’ digital transition.

The chief executive of Stratpoint, Mr. Dela Cruz, stated that the primary obstacles for Filipino enterprises to begin their digitalization are talent and resources.

Yet, she asserted that businesses must set aside some of their resources to embrace digital change.

In order to better serve its domestic and international clients, Stratpoint’s new office in Mandaluyong City has adopted a hybrid work arrangement.
