International culinary exhibition to include 15 MSMEs from Central Luzon

On May 26โ€“28 of this year, fifteen micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) in Central Luzon will have the chance to exhibit their goods at the International Food Exhibition (IFEX) at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

The Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) export marketing division’s Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) hosting the three-day event will have more than 500 exhibitors in addition to the 15 MSMEs.

Four of the participating businesses are from Bulacan, two each are from the provinces of Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales, and one is from Aurora.

The participating MSMEs from the region are GMA Farms, Bagakeรฑo Cashew Nuts and Gen. Merchandise, Amanda’s Marine Products, Sta. Maria Dairy, Seven C Corporation, Angel-Spice Mushroom Station, RamC Food Industry, Forturo Foods Manufacturing, RedJ Mushroom Farm, Lola Puring’s Food Products, Apung Ota Brownies and Delicacies, RP Corpus Sales Enterprise, Pindangan MPC, Green Thumb Agri Products, and Sonia’s Sweets.

“Our MSMEs are happy to see IFEX in person again after it was only available digitally during the pandemic. They will undoubtedly display the highest-quality items from Central Luzon, according to a statement from Brigida Pili, regional director for DTI-3, on Thursday.

According to Pili, the participating MSMEs will display the greatest food items from the area, such as processed mangoes, cashew nuts, coco jams, peanut butter, bagoong and dried fish, yogurt and other dairy goods, chicharon, mushroom chips, pastries, candies, and other sweets in bottles.

She stated that six additional MSMEs from Pampanga will put up booths in the seller’s section and the exhibit area. These include Lailen’s Pastries, Lola Puring’s Food Products, RPO Fine Foods, John and Mico Food Products, Aiza’s Sweets, and Sasmuan Delicacies.

The MSMEs have been receiving assistance from the DTI Regional Office 3 through training and providing livelihood kits and facilities that might help them improve and grow their enterprises.

Similarly, the DTI-3 has been organizing and participating in several trade shows to assist MSMEs in generating sales, income, and jobs.

Our MSMEs will have the chance to introduce their products, find new markets, and conduct business with major customers at trade shows like IFEX, Pili continued.
