Two weather systems are expected to bring rain to Luzon and parts of Visayas.
The meteorological office stated on Thursday that rains will fall across Luzon and parts of the Visayas due to two weather systems.
The shear line will bring scattered rainfall and thunderstorms to the Bicol area, Quezon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the shear line had lessened in a late Wednesday advisory.
Light to moderate rainfall is expected to continue in these locations for the next 12 to 24 hours.
During moderate to severe rainfall, flash floods or landslides are likely.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon will deliver light rains to the Cagayan Valley and Aurora, as well as isolated light rains to the remainder of Luzon.
Isolated rain showers will occur across the rest of the country as a result of localized thunderstorms.
Over the whole archipelago, moderate to severe winds and moderate to rough waves will continue to prevail.
Strong to gale-force winds will be experienced along the northern coast of northern Luzon due to the northeast monsoon.
Fishing boats and other small watercraft have been cautioned not to enter into the sea, while larger sea vessels have been warned of strong waves.
