Children in North Carolina who are interested in fisheries and sciences have the opportunity to win a scholarship through an after-school activity. Students can participate in hands-on fisheries science experiments in either a freshwater or a marine setting. Mentors are professionals, instructors, and specialists in the field of fisheries. Accepted students will receive a $3,000 grant.
