
The total number of people who have recovered from PH Covid-19 has increased by 7.7K to 1,232,986
On Sunday, another 7,701 individuals had overcome the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), bringing the total number of people who had recovered to 1,232,986, or 93.7 percent of the country’s total cases.
The Department of Health (DOH) also announced 7,302 new confirmed cases and 137 new fatalities in its most recent case bulletin.
With these additions, the total number of active cases has risen to 59,865 and the death toll has risen to 22,788.
91.2 percent of active cases are mild, 4.6 percent are asymptomatic, 1.8 percent are severe, 1.26 percent are moderate, and 1.3 percent are in critical condition, according to the latest numbers.
“Four of the duplicates were recovered, therefore 15 duplicates were eliminated from the overall case count.” Furthermore, following final confirmation, 65 previously categorized as recovered patients were reclassified as deaths,” the report said.
On June 11, statistics from the Department of Health revealed that 12.4 percent of 50,757 people tested positive for Covid-19.
On June 11, all labs were functioning, with the exception of one, which was unable to send data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).
According to the DOH, the one non-reporting lab contributes 0.17 percent of samples tested and 1.7 percent of positive persons in the past 14 days.
To far, 58 percent of the 3,400 ICU beds, 48 percent of the 19,200 isolation beds, 47 percent of the 12,300 ward beds, and 36 percent of the 2,700 ventilators devoted to Covid-19 patients are in use throughout the country.
Meanwhile, in the National Capital Region, 46 percent of 1,200 critical care unit beds, 37 percent of 4,700 isolation beds, 32 percent of 3,600 ward beds, and 32 percent of 1,000 ventilators are allocated to patients with Covid-19.
The public is once again warned to remain at home and follow basic health precautions before venturing out.
Those who are having Covid-19 symptoms should separate themselves and notify the Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams, according to the Department of Health.
