DSWD introduces e-payment as a substitute method for receiving monetary donations.
Through the LANDBANK Link, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is now able to receive payments and donations.
Clients and partners of the DSWD can do business and/or pay their financial obligations online thanks to the e-payment system known as BizPortal.
The Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Service Delivery Act of 2018, Republic Act 11032, and the Anti-Red Tape Authority Memorandum Circular No. 2020-06 all support the use of electronic payments for government disbursements and collections, according to DSWD Secretary Erwin T. Tulfo on Tuesday.
The e-payment link can be used by potential customers and partners to send financial donations and/or payments for SWDA licensing, registration, and accreditation as well as fees for the dormitory and training program at the Social Welfare and Development Center for Asia and the Pacific as well as fees for minors’ travel clearance, among other things.
The Landbank official website or the DSWD official website can be reached directly via https://www.lbp-eservices.com/egps/portal/index.jsp or through the sidebar section, respectively.
However, customers utilizing the following payment methods will be charged a nominal transaction fee by the Landbank that ranges from PHP15 to PHP30 for each transaction:
โข Cash Payment via Over-the-Counter at 7-Eleven, Cebuana, Palawan, Bayad Center, Western Union, SM, Robinsons, ECPay, Bayad Express, BDO, etc. โข Globe G-Cash accounts; โข BancNet-Member Bank ATM/Debit Cards; โข ATM/Debit Cards from Landbank; โข BancNet-Member Bank ATM/Debit Cards; โข Other e-money issuers like Maya, Shope
Field offices (FOs) in the National Capital Region, Mimaropa, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Bicol, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, and Soccsksargen currently provide online payment system as an alternative collection method.
The remaining DSWD FOs had previously registered and were awaiting approval from the Landbank central office.
The DSWD will investigate more collaborations that prioritize digital transformation in order to provide its clients and beneficiaries with an inclusive financial system.
