Unwatered areas in QC, Rizal, and Mandaluyong Jan. 24-26

The Manila Water Company (Manila Water) said on Friday that some areas of Quezon City, Mandaluyong City, and Antipolo City in the province of Rizal may experience water interruptions from January 24 to January 26 owing to service improvement activities.

Parts of Barangay Tandang Sora in Quezon City, notably along Banlat Road corner Datuin Street and corner Himlayan Street and Tandang Sora Avenue corner St. Martin Street, are affected from 10 p.m. on January 24 to 4 a.m. on January 25 due to line maintenance.

A portion of Barangay Culiat is also impacted, especially along Visayas Avenue and Ledesma Street for line repair.

Parts of Barangays Mayamot and Bagong Nayon in Antipolo City are affected from 10 p.m. on January 25 to 6 a.m. on January 26 due to interconnectivity, notably along Marcos Highway in front of Heaven’s Gate.

In the meantime, water service will be interrupted for residents of Cuenco Avenue, Pagrai Hills, GSIS Avenue, Cogeo Road 29, Cogeo Road 31 Left and Right, Cogeo Road 1, Cogeo Road 11, GSIS clusters, Sitio Taguisan 1, Sitio Taguisan 2, Sitio Taguisan 3, and Mahogany Subdivision.

Parts of Barangays Barangka Ilaya, Barangka Itaas, Barangka Ibaba, and Barangka Drive in Mandaluyong City are also impacted by Manila Water maintenance work, particularly at Sierra Madre corner EDSA, Pinatubo corner EDSA, and Libertad corner Sierra Madre for line meter replacement.

Additionally, water service will be interrupted for people living in Countryside, Kapalaran, Agudo, Silangan, E. Pantaleon, Oliveros, Natib, Wayan, Malapantao, Makaturing, Kapok, P. Victorino, Limay, Dansalan, San Roque, Bataan, Alchan, Palali, Natib, Boni, Irid, Sacrepante, Kapalaran, Maria Clara, Mahinahon, and

Residents in the impacted areas were encouraged by the water corporation to stockpile enough water to meet their demands throughout the service enhancement works.

It also reminded people to undertake flushing by letting the water run until it turns clear when the water supply has been restored.
