meeting with a developer of renewable energy

On Wednesday, the OP reported that Marcos also met with the company San Ignacio Energy Resources Development Corp. (SIERDC) to discuss renewable energy.

It stated that SIERDC briefed Marcos on the organization’s 440-megawatt Isabela Peak Solar Power Project.

The meeting gave the president a chance to learn more about the development and prospective effects of SIERDC’s renewable energy project in the area, according to the statement.

According to the RTVM, SIERDC is constructing more than 440 megawatts worth of solar photovoltaic and hydroelectric projects in Northern Luzon as part of a commercial endeavor that is anticipated to attract PHP18 billion in investment and employ about 4,500 people.

According to the RTVM, Lagdameo, Lotilla, and Science and Technology Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. attended the meeting with Marcos.

The Nextnorth Energy Group, which focuses on creating solar and hydro projects in Northern Luzon, has SIERDC in its portfolio.

It is involved in facility maintenance, facility operation, various inspections, and consulting services in addition to designing and building renewable energy plants like solar and biomass power generation.
