The CEO of the massive online retailer Alibaba is Eddie Wu.
On Tuesday, Alibaba Group, the largest e-commerce company in China, declared that Eddie Wu, a co-founder, will succeed Daniel Zhang as CEO.
In a statement, the business also disclosed that Joe Tsai had been chosen to succeed Zhang as the group’s chairman.
The announcement states that both appointments will become effective on September 10.
Given the significance of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group as it moves closer to a full spin-off, Zhang, chairman, and CEO of Alibaba Group, said, “This is the right time for me to make a transition.”
Zhang will continue to serve as the chairman and CEO of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group.
