Pharma retail is continuously growing, and there are employment opportunities in Cebu
A retail firm stated on Tuesday, 21 September 2021 that the country’s pharmaceutical retail industry is still set for future expansion and would provide additional job possibilities in Cebu.
Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI) made the prediction while announcing the inauguration of its 870th pharmacy, a new Rose Pharmacy location, in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Rose Pharmacy’s in-house brands Rose Pharmacy Generics and the Singapore-based Guardian Pharmacy range of personal care goods provide consumers with high-quality medication and personal care choices.
Since the purchase of Rose Pharmacy in 2020, the holding company’s president and chief executive officer, Robina Gokongwei-Pe, has identified different opportunities in further developing the pharmacy assortment to meet current and relevant consumer requirements.

With the purchase of Southstar Drug in 2012, RRHI entered the pharmacy industry.
TGP, the country’s biggest franchised network of community pharmacy shops specialized in generic and cheap medications, was purchased by RRHI in 2016.
Southstar Drug and Rose Pharmacy’s e-commerce sites, driven by RRHI’s omnichannel strategy and in response to the coronavirus epidemic, provide more convenience to consumers via order and delivery services.
