Vax hubs must produce records within 48 hours, according to the government.
Within two days of an inoculation event, the government has mandated that all vaccination locations around the country provide their list of immunized individuals.
The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases adopted this recommendation made by the Sub-Technical Working Group on VaxCertPH under IATF Resolution 159, according to acting Presidential Spokesperson, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, in a press briefing on Friday.
“Within 48 hours of the immunization event, all vaccination sites, whether public or private, must report their data to the Vaccine Information Management System,” Nograles added.
He recommended that all vaccination sites, whether public or private, and especially those without electronic vaccine administration systems, employ one of the following to speed up the processing of their vaccination line list data: Vaccine Administration System (DVAS), DVAS mobile, and DVAS offline from DICT (Department of Information and Communications Technology).
He recommended that all local government units and their vaccination sites, whether public or private, use the Vaccine Information Management System (VIMS) training materials available at iadapt.pdrf.org.
