On February 9, about 3,000 jobs will be available as part of Ilocos Norte’s 204th founding anniversary celebrations.

The all-day event will take place at the Robinsons Place Ilocos Al Fresco area from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will follow strict health and safety guidelines.

Job seekers can pre-register starting Feb. 4 by visiting an online platform https://workin.ilocosnorte.gov.ph to learn more about the career opportunities available in the province and abroad, according to Anne Marie Lizette B. Atuan, manager of the Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO).

“With our enormous database of job openings, you’ll almost certainly find something that interests you,” she said.

Customer service representatives, collections experts, financial advisers, healthcare professionals, delivery porters, and factory workers are among the top jobs needed in the province, which are supported by both local and international businesses.

Interested applicants should dress professionally and provide numerous copies of their CV or curriculum vitae, as well as 2×2 ID photos, according to the provincial PESO.

The job fair at the Capitol is part of the provincial government’s goal of increasing employment and maintaining the province’s low poverty rate.

There are more than 3,671 job opportunities in Ilocos Norte, according to the “Work in Ilocos Norte” database, from at least 77 partner agencies.

Other firms in the province are being encouraged to register with the Ilocos Norte government’s online job site in order to hire the best people who meet their needs, according to the PESO.
