MANILA, Philippines — According to Presidential Adviser on Covid-19 Response, Secretary Vince Dizon, fellow Southeast Asian countries will most likely get life-saving Covid-19 vaccines supplied by the Philippines.

According to data from the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Timor-Leste (42.6 percent or 571,418) and Myanmar (39.2 percent or 20,919,933) have yet to properly vaccinate at least half of their populations as of February 28.

At least 64 million people, or 71 percent of the population, have been properly vaccinated in the Philippines.

According to Dizon, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Department of Health are determining which nations will receive the goods, as well as the number and brands to contribute.
