PNP employees have now been fully vaccinated in excess of 98 percent of the time.
MANILA, Philippines โ As of Sunday, 221,101 out of 224,695 members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) were fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), accounting for 98.40 percent of the force.
The rest are either partially vaccinated (2,956 cops, or 1.52%) or unvaccinated (638 cops, or 0.28 percent), while 136,677 officers, or 61.82 percent, have gotten booster doses.
Meanwhile, there were no new cases reported on Sunday, bringing the total number of active infections to ten.
Since the beginning of the pandemic two years ago, the PNP Health Office has registered 48,831 cases, 48,693 recoveries, and 128 deaths.
The most recent death was on February 11th.
