“A total of thirteen duplicate cases were eliminated from the total case count because they were recoveries. In addition, 121 instances were discovered to be negative and were removed from the total case count. “Of these, 119 are recoveries,” according to the Department of Health.

Following validation, fourteen cases previously labeled as recoveries were reclassified as fatalities.

On January 2 and 16, all laboratories that were open were unable to submit data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System.

Based on statistics from the previous 14 days, the 16 laboratories provide 2.1 percent of samples analyzed and 1.8 percent of positive persons, according to the DOH.

Patients with Covid-19 have used 26 percent of 3,500 ICU beds, 27 percent of 19,000 isolation beds, 19 percent of 12,200 ward beds, and 14 percent of 3,000 ventilators nationwide to date.
