Robredo promises to clean up the government.
MANILA, Philippines โ Vice President Leni Robredo, a presidential candidate, has promised to clean up government ranks and eliminate graft and corruption if she is elected.
Robredo stated she had never been involved in any corruption allegation or case throughout her long tenure in the government during her remarks at the grand gathering in Bulacan on Wednesday evening.
“Kinwento ko sa inyo kung ano ang plataporma natin nung huli tayong nagkaroon ng rally dito sa Malolos.” Sinabi natin ang pinaka una lilinisin natin ang pamahalaan kaya ang pangako natin gobyernong tapat para umangat ang buhay nating lahat (I told you our platform during the last rally here in Malolos.) “I told you that the first thing we’ll do is clean up the government,” she added. “That’s why our promise is an honest government that will improve everyone’s lives.”)
Robredo stated that she and her team have made numerous promises, but that they would not be kept if the administration is untrustworthy and rife with corruption.
She went on to say that with an honest administration, investments and enterprises will flow freely, resulting in a thriving economy.
An honest government, according to Robredo, requires industrious and capable government employees.
“Bubuti lamang ang ekonomiya natin pag may tiwala sa atin yung mga negosyante,” says the economist. If there is no trust among investors, the economy will not improve. If there is no trust among investors, the economy will not improve. If we don’t, we won’t be able to create more jobs and fix our economy the way we want it),” she said.
Robredo also warned her supporters to constantly demand proof from people wooing their votes and not to believe everything they hear.
She also informed the audience about her office’s countless projects and assistance in recent years, particularly during the coronavirus disease epidemic of 2019 and natural disasters.
People are choosing a bright future by voting for her, according to Robredo.
“Ginagawa natin ito para sa ating bayan,” says the narrator. This is something we’re doing for our own children and for the sake of our country. We’re doing it for our kids and their future),” she explained.
