Germany offers 600 nursing positions to Filipinos.

For the purpose of placing 600 Filipino registered nurses in partner hospitals and senior care facilities in Germany, the Department of Migrant Workers is currently accepting applications.

According to a statement made by the German Embassy in Manila on Monday, the employment will be carried out through a government-to-government (G2G) cooperation under the Triple Win Project (TWP).

All Filipino registered nurses with at least a year of relevant work experience in healthcare facilities such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or care facilities, or as private duty nurses are eligible to apply.

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages requires that applicants have German language competency at the B1 or B2 Level, or they must enroll in free TWP language instruction in the country to reach the B1 Level.

If German language instruction is required, a candidate must be able to enroll in the course, which may begin at any time between November 2022 and January 2023.

A language evaluation is required of those having B1 and/or B2 certificates that were issued more than a year ago.

There is also a free refresher course under the TWP.

Along with a cover letter and curriculum vitae with a photo, other documentation requirements include a passport in good standing, a notarized nursing degree diploma upon acceptance to the program, a Board Certificate, and a copy of a license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission. Previous and current employment certificates in related fields must also be notarized upon acceptance to the program.

The German Federal Employment Agency commissioned the TWP, which debuted in 2013.

The deployment of Filipino nurses to significant hospital partners across Germany has resulted in some of them being promoted to higher positions while others continue their education.

Interested applicants should visit the DMW Facebook page or website at https://www.dmw.gov.ph/ for additional details on the program.

On September 30, applications must be submitted.
