Following the national and municipal elections in 2022, five public servants from the province of Lanao del Sur and the Northern Mindanao region were recognized as among the “Top Performers” in local governance.

According to a statement released on Sunday by the data analytics company RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD), they are Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental Mayor Henry Oaminal Jr., Misamis Occidental Governor Henry Oaminal Sr., Misamis Occidental 2nd District Representative Sancho Fernando Oaminal, Lanao del Sur 1st District Representative Ziaur-Rahman Alonto-Adiong, and Misamis

With a score of 90%, Rep. Oaminal ranked fifth among the best performers in the House of Representatives, whereas Adiong came in at number ten with a score of 78%.

With an 80 percent rating, Oaminal Jr. ranked ninth among the best-performing municipal mayors, while Unabia and Oaminal Sr. tied for sixth place in the governor category with an 85 percent score.

These public servants who excelled in “constituent service” and service to the country, according to Dr. Paul Martinez, the RPMD’s focal point, should be commended for their outstanding achievement.

From November 27 to December 2, 2022, the independent, uncommissioned “Boses ng Bayan” national performance rating survey was conducted.

10,000 respondents were chosen from the 65.75 million registered voters between the ages of 18 and 70. The sample had a 95 percent level of confidence and an error margin of plus or minus 1 percent.

The number of respondents was spread proportionally based on the number of registered voters in each area, according to Martinez, who claimed that respondents were picked at random.
