PNP Covid-19 recoveries top 48K, with 478 active cases.
Another 204 coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) recoveries were announced by the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday.
According to the PNP’s newest Covid-19 tracker, this brings the overall number of recovered personnel to 48,014 out of a total of 48,619 confirmed cases since the pandemic began in 2020.
Despite 34 new infections, the active case count has dropped to 478 from 648 on Monday.
The death toll has been maintained at 127.
Meanwhile, 97.44 percent of PNP employees, or 219,134 out of a total of 224,890, have been properly vaccinated against Covid-19.
Those who have not yet had their second dosage are assigned to 2.18 percent of the workforce, or 4,899 people, while those who have not yet been vaccinated are assigned to 0.38 percent or 857 people.
97,071 police officers have already received their booster doses.
