BALANGA CITY. As part of its ongoing endeavor to improve education quality, the provincial administration delivered roughly 27,000 iPads to junior high school pupils in public schools on Monday.

At the Bunker, the headquarters of the provincial government, Governor Albert Garcia, Vice Governor Cris Garcia, and Schools Division Office (SDO) assistant superintendent Roland Fronda led the distribution of 26,996 tablets to children.

The governor stated that the tablets would be distributed to students in grades 9 and 10 as well as those enrolled in the Alternative Learning System in Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Abucay, Pilar, Orion, Limay, Mariveles, Bagac, and Morong.

Balanga City has its own educational district.

“Despite the pandemic, Bataan’s educational support program will further enhance and strengthen the quality of education in the province,” the governor remarked at the ceremony.

Fronda expressed gratitude to the provincial government for its continued support in the field of education.

The additional tablets were added to the 12,684 comparable devices distributed to senior high schools across the province last year.
