20 EV charging hubs will be installed by a company in Luzon

As part of its commitment to helping the government advance the nation’s electric car industry, Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) has said it will turn on at least 20 charging stations for electric vehicles on the island of Luzon.

On Thursday, the business unveiled its integrated e-vehicle charging stations, bringing them to key locations like shopping centers, workplaces, estates, hotels, and industrial areas.

Today is a significant turning point for Ayala Land. This is the country’s largest rollout of EV charging stations, according to ALI President and Chief Executive Officer Bobby Dy, who spoke during the event in Makati City. “We are releasing over 20 electric vehicles (EV) fast-charging stations throughout seven cities in Luzon.

One Ayala, Circuit Makati, Nuvali Laguna, Vermosa Cavite, and Vertis North are just a few of the first places where its e-vehicle charging hub will be set up. Other initial locations include Ayala Land Estates, Ayala Land offices, Greenbelt Makati, Glorietta Makati, Alabang Town Center, and Trinoma, as well as Ayala Malls and Ayala Hotels

An e-vehicle can be fully charged in one to two hours with the help of the 22-KW AC and 60-KW DC fast chargers that the company will install.

According to Dy, “We are extending this program to other important areas, stimulating sustainable transport faster and further in the years to come.”

The automobile manufacturer Kia displayed its EV6 model at the launch.

“With this, we hope to encourage further those looking to purchase cars to consider a cleaner, more environmentally friendly mode of transportation. Our dedication to an electric future is demonstrated by the debut of the EV6 and the Ayala Land electric car charging point, according to Manny Aligada, president of Kia Philippines.

According to the energy department, the Comprehensive Roadmap for the Electric Vehicle Industry (CREVI) is expected to be released by the first quarter of 2019.

The goal of this roadmap for electric vehicles is to encourage their use nationwide and boost the sector.
