Ukraine requests that diplomatic security be increased by other nations.

On Friday, Ukraine requested that foreign nations increase security around its diplomatic posts there.

Oleg Nikolenko, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, claimed during a news conference in Kyiv that many diplomatic missions had received packages containing “animals’ eyeballs.”

Additionally, a letter containing “an article unfavorable of Ukraine” was sent to the Ukrainian Embassy in the US.

On November 30, a report of a fire in an embassy building for Ukraine was brought to the attention of Madrid police. According to media reports, an explosive device concealed in a mail envelope that detonated after it was opened was what started the fire.

One embassy employee reportedly received minor wounds.
