On Labor Day, Kadiwa provides workers with affordable goods.

In addition to providing employment opportunities, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will set up more than 20 “Kadiwa ng Pangulo para sa Manggagawa” stores on May 1 to commemorate Labor Day.

The DOLE announced on Saturday that starting on Sunday, 21 Kadiwa stalls will be set up at job fair locations across the country to allow entrepreneurs to sell their products directly to customers without the use of middlemen like traders.

Vegetables, fruits such as bananas, mangoes, pineapples, rice, fresh, dried, and smoked fish, meat products, eggs, sugar, and dairy items are just a few of the goods offered by 606 businesses and 1,223 vendors.
