According to the meteorological service, Monday will be mostly sunny across the nation.

Daniel James Villamil of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) states, “The country will experience warm and humid weather due to the easterlies, with localized thunderstorms likely in the afternoon or evening.”

He noted that there will be isolated thunderstorms, especially in the country’s east.

Due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly overcast to cloudy skies with sporadic rain showers or thunderstorms.

Villamil added that PAGASA does not anticipate a low-pressure area to form or hit the nation in the upcoming days.

The temperature may reach 37 degrees in Tuguegarao, 35 degrees in Metro Manila, and 34 degrees in Laoag.

In the Visayas and Mindanao, Zamboanga may experience highs of 35 °C, Davao and Iloilo may experience highs of 33 °C, and Cebu, Tacloban, and Cagayan de Oro may experience highs of 32 °C.

The entire archipelago will experience light to moderate winds and mild to moderate seas, according to PAGASA.
