During the opening hours of the vaccine drive, almost 51K people received Covid-19 vaccinations.
As of Monday morning, at least 51,375 people had been vaccinated against Covid-19 as part of the Bayanihan, Bakunahan countrywide immunization push, which runs through December 1.
The data comes from the National Vaccination Dashboard’s noon update.
In an online media briefing, National Vaccination Operations Center Chairperson and Department of Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje said, “Nasa 200 LGUs [local government units] pa lang ang nagsu-submit ng report sa (About 200 LGUs so far we’ve been able to submit reports to the) operations center.”
Starting at noon, 4 p.m., and 8 p.m., the National Task Force Against Covid-19 and the National Immunization Operations Center will offer information on the latest vaccination count for the campaign.
During the three-day campaign, the government hopes to vaccinate 9 million people in an effort to increase the number of people who are protected from the coronavirus across the country.
The public is advised to take advantage of these three days to get vaccinated.
Previously, November 29 to December 1 were designated as “special working days,” allowing public and private sector employees to take time off to get vaccinated.
