El Shaddai’s leader backs BBM. -Sara
DAVAO CITY – On Saturday, Vice Presidential candidate Mayor Sara Z. Duterte praised the leader of the religious group El Shaddai for sponsoring her vice-presidential campaign and that of Uniteam presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
After the BBM-Sara UniTeam attended an event at El Shaddai’s International House of Prayer in Amvel, Paranaque City on Feb. 12, El Shaddai leader Brother Mike Velarde announced the endorsement.
“Your support for my candidacy is powerful and will be of great assistance in my aspirations and advocacies should I be given an opportunity to win alongside our presidential candidate Apo Bongbong,” Duterte said in a statement.
Uniteam has three goals for the country, according to her: job creation, high-quality education, and peaceful living.
“Your prayers and blessings, Brother Mike and all the members of El Shaddai are an additional weapon for us as we tackle the challenges of leading our country,” Mayor Sara continued.
She promised to continue the Duterte administration’s beneficial programs and projects, such as “Build, Build, Build” and the battle on illegal drugs.
“Seeing the transformations in the lives of the Filipinos is really significant for Uniteam,” Mayor Sara stated. “Our country will continue to expand and prosper as a result of these developments, and our economy will benefit.”
She further emphasized that the El Shaddai members’ hearts were filled with togetherness and faith in God.
“Unity is the reason your company is strong and will continue to be strong. “I think that no difficulty, trial, or problem can be solved or overcome without working together,” Duterte remarked.
She stated that the fundamental goal of the Uniteam is to strengthen the country, particularly in the areas of economy, labor, and peace and order.
“We believe in the power of coming together.” We will be stronger if we work together. We can do a lot if we work together. We understand that the future isn’t a joke. And if the Filipino people vote for us in May, we will undoubtedly face greater difficulties,” warned Duterte.
