Sara’s Mahalin Natin ang Pilipinas Ride welcomes ‘Bato.’

Pangasinan’s ALAMINOS is a town in the province of Pangasinan. Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa accompanied Vice President Sara Duterte in her Mahalin Natin ang Pilipinas Ride on Saturday (MNPR).

Dela Rosa described his decision to join the Davao City mayor as a “little way” of repaying him for campaigning for him when he stood for senator in 2019.

“Malaki yong utang na loob natin sa kanya,” says the narrator. Maka-give back din ako sa ating pasasalamat sa kanya (I am indebted to her in my own small way). He explained, “It’s my little little way of paying back) by going the rounds with her.” “Siya mismo yung umikot sa buong Pilipinas para ikampanya ako (She campaigned for me all over the country).”

He, on the other hand, stated that his support for Mayor Sara dates back to before the 2019 elections.

“I’ve made a commitment to her.” Yong commitment ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon ayon Ang aming pinagsamahan ganon kalalim (That commitment dates back to her younger years, when I was a new police officer in Davao.) That’s how long we’ve known each other),” he went on to say.

Sara’s leadership style has been praised by Dela Rosa, who believes that it will be emulated by all Filipinos.

“It’s a leadership that doesn’t make any sense. We expect na the same brand of leadership ang ipapakita niya (that she will display the same kind of leadership at the national level),” he said.

Under Sara’s administration, Dela Rosa was the chief of police of Davao City. After President Rodrigo Duterte was elected in 2016, he became the national police head.

Sara is currently on the 19th day of her national caravan, dubbed Mahalin Natin ang Pilipinas Ride, in Pangasinan province.

Sara attended the inauguration of the Sara For VP headquarters in Alaminos town with 1st District Rep. Arnold Celeste, 4th District Rep. Christopher De Venecia, 5th District Rep. Ramon Guico III, 6th District Rep. Tyrone Agabas, former Rep. Rachel Arenas, and 1st District congressional candidate Art Celeste, along with senatorial candidates Harry Roque and Robin Padilla.

She then went to Lingayen City to meet with Governor Amado Espino III.
